04月28日讯 据德国《图片报》报道，由于担心争议事件影响自己的国家队生涯，吕迪格已经向德国队主帅纳格尔斯曼以及德国足协总监沃勒尔致歉。
国王杯决赛中，吕迪格在比赛最后时刻暴怒朝裁判投掷杂物，被数名队内人员阻止。赛后他公开发文致歉。据悉，事后吕迪格担心此事会对自己的国家队生涯造成负面影响，已经向纳格尔斯曼和沃勒尔打了电话，请求理解并解释了自己情绪爆发的原因。
沃勒尔在接受采访时也公开批评了吕迪格，《图片报》表示吕迪格现在已经被德国足协“出示了黄牌”，目前尚不明确他是否会被国家队弃用。由于已经失去了受伤的施洛特贝克，弃用吕迪格对纳格尔斯曼来说将是一个艰难的决定。
吕迪格目前仍处于欧足联的一年违纪缓刑期中，但规则只适用于俱乐部的欧战比赛，《图片报》表示，只有国际足联认为吕迪格的行为足够恶劣，才有可能将禁赛范围扩大。
