报道称，多特蒙德无力承担租借拉什福德的费用，这位曼联球员的周薪高达35万镑，多特已经将拉什福德排除出引援名单，即使是短期合同（多特也已放弃）。如果费用下降，多特或许会重新考虑签下球员。
